Yes, you read that right… 👀

Casio have just officially entered the mechanical watch world with the Edifice EFK-100 series! 🚗🔧

So first things first, the EFK-100 collection debuts with five models 👇

All offering a whole lot of choice & versatility with their respective colourways! 🎨

So, as you can see, we’ve got four models featuring stainless steel cases, which are 39mm in diameter, 43.50mm lug to lug & 12.50mm thick. ⚙️

While the fifth model, the EFK-100XPB-1AJF, stands out with a carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) case combined with stainless steel, weighing just 87 grams for a sportier look & feel. 🏎️

All models boast sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating for clarity & durability, along with 100m of water resistance. Impressive for an automatic watch at this price point. 🌊

Taking a closer look into their dials, The EFK-100CD-1AJF features a forged carbon dial, while the others simulate this effect with textured dials. 🌟

Now, most importantly, what movement is inside? 🤔

Powering each EFK-100 model is the Seiko NH35A calibre, a reliable automatic movement visible through their transparent casebacks. It operates at 3Hz, offers 40-hour power reserve, hacking seconds, date display & 24 jewels. ⏱️

Priced to be accessible, these range from ¥49,500 (~$340) to ¥74,800 (~$515), depending on the model, with the forged carbon case option at the higher end. 💸

The collection launches in August 2025, marking Casio’s significant entry into mechanical watches. 🚀

I’m liking this series, while it may not be revolutionary in terms of complications, it definitely serves as a fantastic entry point for Casio into the world of mechanical watches. ⚙

The “newness” factor is sure to attract a lot of Casio fans, eager to see how the brand brings its legendary reliability and toughness to the automatic watch scene. 🤝

Combine that with the mechanical watch enthusiasts who are always looking for great value & you’ve got the perfect recipe for a hot cake (best-seller) imo. 👍
