🤯 It’s Back?! G-Shock Reintroduces the OG DW-5000?! 🤯

Casio have just officially announced a brand new G-Shock DW-5000! 🔥 

This is the DW-5000R-1A & it will be launching worldwide this December! 🎄

Unlike past anniversary-focused DW-5000s, the DW-5000R-1A is not a limited edition model & while not an exact replica, it very closely resembles the first-generation DW-5000C-1A from 1983! 🤩

The watch updates the case size to 42.3mm (from the original 41.6mm) with overall dimensions of 48.9 x 42.3 x 13.1mm. 📐

Which makes it slightly slimmer & smaller than the DW-5600, GW-5000 & past anniversary models. 💪

This essentially carries all of the functions we’d see on a regular DW-5600, with a slightly updated dial layout. 🕛️

Some Key features ⚙️

• Stopwatch ⏱️ 

• Countdown Timer ⌛️

• Alarm ⏰ 

• Calendar 📅

• Super Illuminator LED backlight 💡 

• 5-year battery life (potentially longer with light usage) 🔋 

• Bio-based resin bezel & band for eco-friendliness 🍃

• Screw lock case back just like the original 😮‍💨 

This one has a retail price of 33,000 yen (approx. $217) & while the US price isn’t confirmed yet, it’s expected to retail around $200-240. 💰️
